There’s a special joy that comes from partnering with God to provide for the needs of others. This holiday season, we have the opportunity to do just that:
Thanksgiving
We will be giving turkeys to families from Bayshore Elementary as well as providing a free meal for our church family. If you would like to help with the expenses of this, please mark “Thanksgiving Dinner” on your donation check or offering envelope.
Giving Tree
You can bless a family in need by providing Christmas presents for them through “The Giving Tree” which will be located in the lobby beginning Sunday, November 20. Each card on the tree has a gift suggestion. Just choose a card, purchase and wrap the gifts, attach the tag to the gift, and return it to the church by Wednesday, December 14. We will contact the family and arrange for them to pick up their gifts in time for Christmas.
Christmas Dinner
A gift of $30 will provide a Christmas meal for a family in need. Each year, as the Lord provides, we have been able to share Christmas meals for those within our congregation. Through our relationships with Bayshore Elementary, Nations Association, and the North Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce, we’ve also been able to share with families in our community who might otherwise do with less or even without. You can take part by marking “Christmas Dinner” on your donation check or offering envelope.
Jesus taught us in Matthew 25 that when we meet the needs of others, it’s the same as doing it for Him. We invite you to share in the blessing!
