Join Us For Our First Ride!
Date: Saturday, January 14
Depart: South Campus (Chapel) at 10:00 a.m.
Destination: Solomon’s Castle in Ona, FL (near Arcadia)
Solomon’s Castle:
- Built by Howard Solomon, internationally-known sculptor.
- Features living quarters, over 80 stained glass windows, and galleries exhibiting Solomon’s “found object” sculptures, paintings, and curiosities.
- Lunch at “The Boat in The Moat Restaurant,” a replica of a 60 foot 16th century Spanish galleon.
- Enjoy exploring the castle grounds and walking along the nature trail near picturesque Horse Creek.
Cost: Tour – $10.
Meals (optional) average $8-$10 plus drink, tax and tip.
