TRUNK OR TREAT

Bigger and Better

Our annual Trunk or Treat will take place on Monday evening, October 31, from 6-8 p.m. at the North Campus. Last year, there were 40 decorated cars and candy for over 350 children. We are looking to make it even bigger and better this year!

What Happens?

Here’s how it works:  On the 31st, bring your car, some candy, and your decorations to the North Campus parking lot and set up by 5:30 p.m. Then hand out candy to all the kids who come by. It’s a great time of fun and fellowship. (You don’t even need to decorate your car – the candy’s the thing!)

I’d like to decorate my vehicle, but…

Need some ideas for decorating your car, van, or truck? Choose a theme – country, sports, the beach, the zoo – or make it Halloweeny! Or perhaps decorate it in a way that shows the personality of your family. It’s always fun for the participants as they hand out candy and fellowship with the kids and with each other.

How do I sign up?

Information and registration packets will be available beginning Sunday, October 9, at the Information Counter in the lobby or upstairs in Kids Paradise.

21st Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Our 21st Annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place April 23 from 9:00 a.m. until noon at the North Campus. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m., and the first egg hunt will start at 9:30 a.m.  There will be four separate egg hunts with prizes and several other activities. The schedule for all activities and egg hunts is listed below, and handouts with that information will be distributed at registration. Please make sure to check the schedule to see what time your child’s egg hunt begins.

Registration is free, but we would like every child who attends to bring one bag of individually-wrapped candies. We will be giving out bags of candy to all kids who attend. If you would like to donate candy or a new toy that we can use for prizes for our egg hunts, you may drop them off in the wagon in the foyer beginning Wednesday, April 13.

We will also have a missions fundraiser, The Great Easter Egg Drop. The goal is to design a “capsule” that will protect a raw chicken egg dropped from at least 25 feet. The fee is $5.00 per entry, and all money raised will go to BGMC (Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge). It is open to adults and children. Registration for this event will take place in the foyer the day of the Easter Egg Hunt – be sure to register early! The Drop will take place right after the last egg hunt.

You may call the office for the rules of the Great Easter Egg Drop or pick up a flyer at the Information Counter or Kids Paradise upstairs. The number is 239.543.2700, and ask for Ronna or Pastor Pete.
