Choir Open House

The choir ministry is a place where people of various backgrounds and experiences with a common love of singing and a desire to worship come together to lead others in worship.

 

You are invited to come and see for yourself what the choir is all about. Join us during the Fall season on any Thursday from 7-8:30pm in the choir room of the North Campus. Kids Summer Music Camp

 

Kids Summer Music Camp

July 25-29, 2011

Performances Sunday evening, July 31 at 6:00 p.m.

Two Great Camps. One Awesome Week.

Registration begins June 1

Camp hours are 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

$35 per child – $50 per child after July 5

 

 

Kids entering K-5 thru 2nd Grade

Clap ! Shout ! Stomp ! Jump ! Camp JUMP 4 JOY is a high energy collection of wiggle-waggle-clapping-jumping-marching-singing activity songs that will have your kids praising the Lord. The fun, easy to learn movements will teach kids rhythm and coordination. They will get excited about singing and praising the Lord through movement and song.

Kids Entering 3rd thru 6th Grade

Knights! Castles! Princesses! Dragons! Camp HAPPILY FOREVER AFTER – You can join Princess Pride, Sir Brags-a-lot, and their curious band on an amazing trek in a very faraway land. When they choose to follow a Carpenter from another kingdom, they encounter troubles, temptations, and some very funny characters along the way.

Children will need to bring a sack lunch each day. On-time registration includes a t-shirt for each child. Both camps will be held at our North Campus, 7101 Bayshore Road. If you have  any further questions, you may contact us at 543.2700 and ask for Ronna.

Test Drive the Choir This Summer

If you have always wanted to join the choir but weren’t sure about making a long-term commitment, Summer Choir may just be the answer. Rehearsals last for only one hour and the choir will sing every other Sunday for the months of July and August. If you find that Choir is the ministry for you, then you can complete the process to become a full-time member. If not, we are glad you joined us just the same!

Faith @ the Fair

The Worship Ministries of Faith Assembly (including the choir, band and singers) will be appearing on the main stage in Tinsley Pavilion at the Lee County Fair on Monday evening, March 1.

Admission is free (this night only) for each person bringing at least two canned good items for the Harry Chapin Food Bank. Otherwise, regular admission is $7.00 per adult and $4.00 per child.

Faith Assembly is partnering with two other local churches for this evening of praise beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Joseph, The Birth of Jesus Told Through His Chosen Father’s Eyes

“JOSEPH”

Matthew Zawisza, one-half of the drama ministry Act4Him, will be presenting “Joseph, The Birth of Jesus Told Through His Chosen Father’s Eyes” on Sunday, December 20th, 6:00 p.m., at Faith Assembly’s North Campus.  Admission is free and childcare will be provided.

Act4Him consists of Matthew and Tina Zawisza who are called for one mission: To Bring the Gospel to Life!  With anointed storytelling, Act4Him not only makes the Gospel real, but brings the emotion and feelings of the stories into the lives of God’s people…just like Jesus did!

Randy Estelle in Concert at Faith Assembly

What do jazz, blues, rock-a-billy, worship, energy and laughter all have in common? Randy Estelle. With eleven solo recordings and over 120 personal appearances yearly, Randy has also appeared as soloist with the Billy Graham Association and as a session producer/musician with many artists including Bill Gaither.

This year, Randy will be appearing with Faith Assembly’s own choir, band and singers for a night of worship you will not soon forget.
