Congregational Update

March 18, 2020, Noon update

For most businesses and groups, the decision to stop meeting or doing business is based on financial considerations or the amount of risk involved. As a Church, these are not our primary considerations. We are focused on the spiritual health and well-being of each person. While the Church is more than a building, there is an element of meeting in person as the Body of Christ that cannot be ignored.1 However, Scripture is also clear that the Church is still the Church even when we are not physically gathered together2, and we can still be the Church no matter where we are.

We are also aware of the concern of our community and government officials with large groups of people during this time. So, although we would very much like to keep meeting in our regular manner, we have respect for authority and regard for our neighbors.

We will cease meeting in person until further notice. This includes our Sunday and Wednesday services.

Over the past few years, we have been developing our online platforms to serve those who cannot make it to the church building on Sunday or Wednesday. We will be leveraging these platforms in the coming days to continue serving our community.

Sunday and Wednesday services will continue to be streamed online.

You can join us electronically for uplifting worship and encouraging messages from Pastor Goss. We plan to provide other content as well. Our content will be available in the following places:

If you need assistance with accessing us online, please call the church office ahead of time. We would be happy to help you get set up.

We have other content available online, too.

The church offices remain open to answer any questions or help in any way. Call us at 239-543-2700. Our email is Info@FaithNFM.com.
