The Gospel According to Scrooge: 30th Year

The Gospel According to Scrooge is an annual production presented by the people of Faith Assembly. Scrooge is full of British accents, elaborate costumes, and entertaining songs. It is based on the classic Christmas story, “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens, but with a Christian twist. We follow Ebenezer Scrooge in the past, present, and future as he confronts his decisions and his relationship with God.

Each year there are cast changes and script re-writes, as we endeavor to present the most entertaining, heart-felt experience for all ages. 2019 is the 30th year of Scrooge at Faith, and it promises to be the best ever. Once again, our massive two-story set will help bring Old London to life for two hours of fun and enjoyment.

Performance dates for 2019 are:

Friday, December 13 at 7pm

Sunday, December 15 at 5pm

Monday, December 16 at 7pm

The Gospel According to Scrooge: Cast Reunion

Every year since 1990, Faith Assembly has produced The Gospel According to Scrooge in December. It has required many people in the cast and crew volunteering their time, talent, and effort to pull it off. Since this is the 30th year, we want to get the Scrooge family back together again!

On Friday, December 13 at 6pm, before the Friday evening performance, we’re calling all Scrooge alumni—cast and crew—to come join a reunion. There will be appetizers, fun, and a time to reconnect with old friends! We want to thank you for your part in making 30 years happen at Faith.

Ladies Bible Study: “Naomi, Known By Name”

This 4-week study is based on the tragedy Naomi endured, her loss of identity, her faithfulness, and God’s blessings.

God is always enough in the seasons of difficulty when our feelings lie to us. It’s awesome to see how God took her through her struggles. We do not realize what He is doing behind the scenes for our good and His glory along with His perfect timing.

Identical studies begin October 14 and 15 in the Hall. Monday classes are at 7pm, and Tuesday classes are at 10am. Books will be for available for purchase at Ladies Bible Study for $9. Childcare is available by request.
